Bi-directional Scanning Air Knives
Our patented bi-directional air scanning technology prolongs the life for the DPF by cleaning each cell on both sides in the filter.
Upper and lower air knives allow cleaning from both ends of the filter, not just one. This ensures optimum filter recovery.
The FSX TrapBlaster is the only process the cleans both sides at the DPF.
Visible Cleaning Process
Most DPFs are completely clean in 22 minutes. However every DPF is different, and the visible cleaning process allows the operator to see when the cleaning is complete.
If the DPF is internally damaged, particulate will be seen escaping out at the clean side of the filter in the first 2 minutes of cleaning. This diagnostic feature is exclusive to the TrapBlaster.
Each Cell Cleaned
The TrapBlaster cleans each cell individually with extreme airflow and high-pressure.
Prolongs the life for the DPF by cleaning each cell on both sides in the filter
The lower air nozzle targets the hardened ash plug, causing it to break apart. The upper air nozzle blows out the loosened material.
Fully Adjustable
Fully automatic operation, but can be adjusted to focus clean on heavily loaded areas for a custom cleaning.
Adjustable nozzles allow access to hard to reach flanges and recessed cavities.
Fully adjustable for filter height to 36" and 20" diameter.
TRAPBLASTER REQUIREMENTS:
Air Supply (FullAir Mode):125 CFM/125 PSI of dry air delivered to TrapBlaster
Air Compressor (FullAir Mode): Minimum 125 CFM, 125 PSI, 30 HP (22.5 KW): larger air compressor may be required depending on compressor manufacturer, air dryer used, pipe configuration and altitude.
Air Supply (AirSaver Mode):60 CFM, 100 PSI (1700 l/min, 7 Bar) dry air delivered to the TrapBlaster
Air Compressor (AirSaver Mode): Minimum 68CFM/100PSI 20HP Air Compressor or 15 KW
Air Dryer: High Efficiency (Required) – desiccant style or refrigeration style for 120 CFM/3400 l/min at outlet
